Successful people invest in their education, development, and personal motivation- knowing that these are the tools of a SUCCESSFUL LIFE.
Q: What makes you passionate about administrative tasks?
First of all, the constant contact I have with others, both those who are already on the team and those who are going to be part of the team. Socializing is the ability that feeds my daily energy and gives me such a good vibe. The office is the place where we spend most of the day, our second home, so my joy is to make it cozier and more welcoming for other guests and us.
Ah, let’s not forget the financial side; I really like working with invoices to observe their progress and understand the whole administrative process behind the company.
It is so difficult for me to choose a single task to say that I am passionate about because every activity I do in this field constantly teaches me new things, which makes me captivated daily by what I do.
Q: What made you decide to try the administrative department?
You know that feeling when you just finished high school and you’re just telling yourself that you have time to decide what to do with your life? Well, the bachelor’s degree is coming and you still don’t know, you enroll in the master’s degree and only then, (at least in my case), I did a retrospective thinking about what I did and what profession to choose based on that, GREAT - error. But life’s about trial and error, so, after the last job before Bunnyshell, I said that I have to think it through, get a job that will help me grow, have fun, go to the office, and most importantly, give me the opportunity to be in action.
Q: What made you choose Bunnyshell specifically?
Honestly, I knew nothing about Bunnyshell before my first interview. What convinced me? Basically, my manager and his vibe during the interview - the passion he had while presenting the company, the job, and the industry. I was sold!
Q: What excites you most about your role at Bunnyshell?
Bunnyshell is the very first start-up I worked for. Because of this, the challenge is more and more exciting because I’ve been used to the corporate world, full of procedures and bureaucracy - which Bunnyshell is not, and I am grateful for this. You probably wonder Why?... Well, just because you can’t miss a thing and you have something to learn from each new thing you’re doing-especially the day-by-day challenges.
Of course, in the first place, it was a concern for me - the fact that every single thing is new and there are more to come just because, hey… that’s our industry, and we need to be up to date. Now that thought is just a flash in my mind, and Bunnyshell proved that there’s no better place to be and learn, let’s not mention the better workplace quote. This is me, enthusiastic and driven by knowledge since 10 months ago. :)
Q: Tell us a bit about the achievements you’re most proud of.
The Andreea from at least 2 years ago probably would have said that she managed to finish the College&University, and she’s proud. Well… things do change, and today’s Andreea says that there are some things you cannot compare and, obviously, the University isn’t the most important thing that she managed to achieve; it’s just a checkmark on a very long list.
For my 23 years, I can honestly say that I have had no big achievements, but I’m working on myself for myself. My dream is to be able to do big things that will impact the people around me and myself in a good manner.
Overall, I am proud of myself and my ‘lil accomplishments, and I am happy for the things that, at some point have done because, thanks to that, I’ve become who I am.
Q: What does success look like in this position, and how do you measure it?
In my opinion, success cannot be measured. That’s because the priorities, values, and milestones may vary - especially at this age, my age. When you start experiencing adult life, it’s actually the trigger of your way of understanding things.
I like to believe that I am the type of person who enjoys the little things because every little thing can mean something in your learning curve.
Personally, I find success as being a deal made between me, myself, and I. If “our milestones” are achieved, it means success for me.
On the other hand, success in a professional way means actually doing your job. In a nutshell, of course. I do believe that if your work can do positive things for more than one person, you can consider yourself on the good track. Obviously, other than that people can be driven by money, not by caring for others, so be it.
So, success means and is represented by the moment you feel successful, that’s all. Good luck with achieving it. ;)
Q: What makes the Bunnyshell team great to work with?
The first thing that comes to my mind is the team. The good vibes they spread, the jokes, and the learnings I took from them. Basically, the overall feeling of being in the office sold my answer. I do believe that if the team is engaged, the actual work will be done better & in a productive way.
Q: What are your thoughts about Bunnyshell’s company culture?
Step 1: Lean on your own values
Step 2: Incorporate the company’s mission&culture
Step 3: Consider the employees
Based on my previous experience, here at Bunnyshell, the culture is still emergent and evolves quickly. This is the start-up life, basically, and everyone is here for the same purpose, and everyone puts some input into everything, especially in the culture. For me, the culture is not the company’s culture;it’s the people’s culture, and it needs to be this way - about the employees. We are doing this here, and I’m glad.
Q: What do the day-to-day responsibilities of the role look like?
The most important thing is to come to the office, make that amazing double-shot flat white, and enjoy it on the terrace… just kidding... I’d wish that :) Besides the administrative things such as ordering coffee and office supplies, my fave task is the “New Employee’s #1 Day Onboarding” :) The “Welcoming You” vibes!
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
I love traveling, I would travel continuously if I could, all over the world, and then I would start all over again. I am passionate about seeing new cultures and eating traditional food.
Another passion of mine that I recently discovered is going to the gym and being in good physical shape. This allows me to keep my body strong and my mind focused.
A hobby that I had since childhood, and something that I’ve always been drawn towards, is acting. I like to think that, in another life, I was an actress working for the National Theatre of Bucharest. At some point in my life, I’m sure I will pursue this dream of mine.
