Development
Velocity Simulator

Comparison of Development Speed using Ephemeral
Environments with Bunnyshell vs. Static Shared Environments

How to use our simulator

icon
1. Configure assumptions and run model.

Add the number of Development tickets. This represents the complexity of the software being developed.

Add the Development team's size and average salary. To be used for profitability calculations.

Add the Development ticket average duration per complexity category. To be fine tuned according to the industry specifics.

2. Run Kanban view.

Click the Run Model button at the bottom of the page and watch the simulation run.

As time passes, the development tickets will change status as per the Kanban board, very much like in a real project.

Time is money, so please feel free to fine tune the simulation speed with the provided slider.

icon
3. Check visual results.

The Visual model tab will show a Kanban boards comparison of project tasks completion speed with and without ephemeral environments.

Scrolling down will show you a graphical comparison of development tickets ready to be deployed per time units.

Once the simulation is completed, the Output Metrics tab will be populated with the deep-dive comparison between the two models.
