Very few CTOs who took over their predecessors' legacy claim to be satisfied with what they discovered. And when they declare satisfaction, it's because they believe that nobody should expect anything better.
This season will concentrate on CTO legacy, whereas the previous one aimed to give structure to the CTO function, important responsibilities, activities, and skills. Since the CTO position is temporary, we firmly think that something needs to be left behind so that the incoming leadership and their teams can continue the journey further, quicker, and better.
About the host
Cornel Fatulescu is Chief Platform Officer at Pentalog. He joined the company in 2005 as an Architecture Developer, then continuously challenged his skills by taking on roles such as CTO, Project Director and Head of CTOs.
With over 23 years of experience in SaaS, two-sided markets, user-generated content and media products, he is currently leading a team of 60 engineers working on defining the technology strategy and vision at group level.
Experienced Agile Coach & Trainer, he is also a firm advocate of non-formal education and the co-founder of AgileHub, one of the most dynamic IT communities in Romania.
